About PRAGATI, a Career-Counselling Center
| Gulbarga, being a backward region, aspiring student community and youth of this region are unaware of the availability of various avenues and opportunities in Education and Jobs. PRAGATI will open the gates to information and opportunities to the student community of this region.
| | The objective of PRAGATI Career Counseling Centre is to bring students from different areas of Gulbarga district into one single roof and give them exposure to the available career options, information about recognized institutions, facilities, opportunities, etc.,
| | A PRAGATI's career guiding convention will be held every year where an autonomous institution is invited to present their institution backdrop before students with multi-disciplinary courses offered by their institution, entrance exam, mode of admission, processing criteria and other beneficial aspects to the needs of students etc.
| | It is decided to spare a separate block in the Deputy Commissioner's Office, which will accommondate a Counseling room, Computer room, Library and Reading room. Internet facility is made available to the student round the clock. Reputed counsellors on both full-time and part-time basis will be placed at job.
| | The Centre will have affiliation and linkages to all leading career counseling centres, Universitites and Information Beaurues in India.
| Structure of PRAGATI Career Guidance Cell
| The PRAGATI Career Guidance Cell will be supported by District Administration headed by the Deputy Commissioner as Director with a core committee
| | The PRAGATI Career Guidance Cell would provide counselling to the students without any remuneration charged from them.
| | The PRAGATI Career Guidance Cell will maintain this Website, so that everyone anywhere in the district can also have access to it through internet where information on careers in different disciplines will be updated.
| | The PRAGATI Career Guidance Cell would also provide a small public library to the students and general public.
| | The PRAGATI Career Guidance Cell would have its own resource centre.
